  • NewBlue VST's

For those on the fence over sound quality in Edius and the use of VST's I can (knock wood and) say the NewBlue VST's have been 100% rock-solid.

I'm particularly fond of the Expander... gives nice tone to mono mics.
The Noise Filter (while not perfect) works without lag.
Some are pretty crazy, but may be useful eventually.

When you say the noise filter works without lag, are you saying it doesn't suffer from the 1024-sample offset that BIAS' SoundSoap does, or that it works in realtime?

If the NewBlue VST doesn't have an offset problem, then many members in this forum have been barking up the wrong tree to get the problem fixed...

      Yes... no lag!
I don't think it's as "fancy" as SoundSoap, but good none-the-less.

I think you can download the demo VST's and the Edius plug-ins are on sale through June!

      Arf!
