  • NB Titler Free - is there a "Save As" Workflow?

    Hello,

I have been trying to search but the forum seems to be having issues.

Today I am finally learning the NB Titler for Edius. I watched Jerry's videos and the software seems like it has a lot of capability. I am first confused by the lack of "Save As" from the Edius side.

My workflow in the past has been to make a title on the timeline, copy it, open it and change the text then Save As and move on to the next one. This is for projects like live shows where I need a similar title for each dance or musical piece. I do not quite understand how I would go about using NB in this situation. It seems like it does not center around the Edius timeline. So do I need to create a brand new title every time and try to apply the attributes inside the NB interface? What about the length of the title? That is where copying on the timeline works so well.

    Thanks for your help.

Tim, that tutorial is for the TP5 version.
The version for Edius X is based on TP7.
Files are now saved in the Edius project folder. I still suggest saving your title/templates to a separate folder from inside of the TP7 interface. It will give you a backup.
