VisTitle does not run anymore

When I tried to run Vistitel a few minutes ago it did not start anymore. No matter if I try it in Edius X or by clicking on the icon! It also does not start by clicking on the exe in the explorer. The licenses manager shows a permant license. VisMKMaker does start. Installed is vers. 2.96.

What can I do?

New experience: what I have reported in the last post is just right as long as Edius X is running! After closing it VisTitle stand alone runs without any problems!

Is the license digital or on the dongle?

Even if there was a problem with one of the plugins I do not understand why tis could effect the starting of the stand alone version. I would understand that in this case VisTitle is not starting in EdiusX, but it should start parallel as stand alone version???

I would try an uninstall>reboot>reinstall>reboot of Vistitle to see if that fixes it.

Obviously I reached the end of my knoladge about Edius!

With trial and error I realized that the V left of the timeline has to be activated to open any titler or color matte. But there is only one V left of AV1. And this affects also all the other ones without a V. Why do they not have the V??? Why can I not open a title in one of these tracks as long as the V in AV1 is deactivatied?

Even if the V is activated it is not possible to start the stand alone VisTitel at the same time. This trial deactivates the V in EdiusX! Can anbody explain the whole meaning of the V to me? Reading the manual just made me weired!

You cannot run both the Edius Plugin and the stand alone titler at the same time. Only one instance of Vistitle is allowed to run at a time. It's the same principle as having Vistitltle open within Premiere and then starting Edius. You will get an error.

OK, I understand!
But: if the V is deactivated I cannot open by right clicking on any track either color matte, color bars, Quick Titel nore VisTitle. The popup menu opens but does´nt work!

The V and A are the track patches. They designate what track video or audio will get put on when inserting/overwriting to the timeline. If not activated, nothing gets placed via insert or overwrite, but drag and drop will still work. Since editing the titles is not dragging the new one to the timeline, the insert/overwite functions are used to place the new title. Without the track path enabled, titlers have no why of knowing where to insert the title, so the requirements to work are not met
