I am currently using vistitle 2.6.0.6 with edius 8 on windows 10. but now getting error about VxQTServer32.exe not able to allocate memory (which slow down edius lauching). Would a vistitle update fix this? If so which update version for edius 8?

I missed the timed offer to switch from the dongle to the digital, so it looks like I would only be able to upgrade to vistitle 2.8 ?

free transfer for dongle to serial number ended in 2018, $199.00 to transfer now (+99.00 if you want graphic extensions). I never received any notice of this back in 2018 from Visdom.
BTW removing QuickTime player from my PC stopped the error messages.Comment
