I found out that Acon Digital DeNoise EDIUS Edition works very well. Recently, I have removed the wind noise and the sounds of the forest with this plugin. It's not competition for sure, but it is a good free alternative.

    Cheers Jerry

No comparison. Only works in Edius X forward.

When you installed the plugin, if you had a choice of plugin version, did you install the 64bit vst2 version? Since Version 8 if i recall, Edius will not load 32 bit plugins and will not load original vst or vst3 versions.

If you have the correct version installed, do you have any other software that can see the plugin, such as reaper, audition, audacity, etc.? If other software can see it, then it may not be an Edius specific problem.

The Waveshell file is just a wrapper/translator to convert the native waves format into a a vst format.

with that in mind a question:

are you sure you have installed the plugin? Check in the waves folder to ensure it is there. If it is there, the waveshell translator should see it.

and, another thing to try would be to do a reset on your edius effects pallet/browser. Sometimes resetting that will get it to display everything correctly.

Now, can we have a screen shot of your VST Plug-in Bridge.
I've included a screen shot of the VST Plug-in Bridge.

You need to link the VST Plugin Folder within the VST Plugin Bridge.
