Do you have Edius X? Your signature only lists Edius 9.

Waves plugins don't work in Edius 9 and earlier. For them to wok in X, you need to have the waveshell.dll file visible to edius by either adding the system's vst folder to the edius vst plugin search path, or by copying the .dll into the local edius vst folder.

If you add the system vst folder to the search path, edius should then see any vst plugin on the system.

I had the same issue, even after adding the path to VST, nothing showed in effects panel until I created a new Profile and started EDIUS from the new profile, after that I switched back to the original profile and the effect remained visible

possibly caused by the fact that my effects panel is customized?

Waves will automatically install into the C:\ Program Files\VSTPlugins folder. I normally copy it to the Steinberg/VST folder because that
is where all of my other VST's are stored.

Clarity is in the Waveshell1-VST 13.5_x64. Here is a screenshot of how it shows up in my Effects Palette. And a shot of how it looks when opened. Works perfectly here. My only complaint it that I would like to be able to resize the window to a larger size on my 4K monitors.

Somewhat OT but has anyone had success using JBRIDGE to run WaveShell in a 32-bit app; e.g., Audition CS6?

Have you installed it and then set the path to the VST in EDIUS System settings? should be in program files/VSTPlugins, double check first

Have you restarted Edius. Edius only scans the plugin folders when it is starting up. Changes to the plugin paths require a restart to get scanned.
