  • Big problem with Edius X Pro and Title Pro 7 for Edius

It is not clear to me how he has this problem, but as far as I can see he repeats himself constantly whatever I do. So I bought an Edius X Pro with Title Pro 7 and constantly in the clip, whatever I do I get the message Preparing title (scrub to fefresh). I use the latest versions, so Edius X Pro ver: 10.20.7821 and Title Pro for Edius ver: 7.7.210609 Although I do everything right, I wait for the green circle to do its thing, I record and whatever I do I always get the same problem, more precisely I can't use Edius X Pro and NewBlue Title Pro together. Does anyone have a solution ??? Can anyone help me, and I believe I am not the only one who has this problem?
Take a look at my problem in the video, and sorry for the worse English

can you try by using a V track for titles and see if it fixes the issue (always on V track above video)

T tracks are from WW2 times, try and avoid

hmm, I tested and could not repeat it, there has to be something wrong

what is the file format you export to?

btw, I do not render prior to export, there is no need

but can you do a little test, select the title and double click the ruler above to mark in and out on the title, then choose render and add to timeline

then export and see if it works

What are your CPU and GPU specs?
Also, have you tried a Shift+Q render prior to export?

I would also like to see your complete project settings and the clip settings.
I just tried this using a 3840x2160 50p clip in a 1920x1080 50p 10bit project and it worked and exported correctly.
I exported using QS VBR 9m/14m and also NVENC using the same bitrates.
              No render was required.
              This is on a 4790k with a 1080ti.

Do you have any other New Blue Products installed?
I'll cut to the chase here. I have the full version installed.
It also comes down to how I installed it.

              1. If you are not using any OFX plugins, you don't need to have the bridge installed.
              2. If you are not using any other New BlueFX plugins, you shouldn't have any issues in the following process.
              3. I uninstalled all of my New BlueFx proucts and cleared them from the registry. This was done
manually and not with a cleaner.
              4. After all of the NB products and registry inputs have been removed, reboot the system.
              5. Now, install TP7 and reboot.
              6. Open Edius and test how the titler works.
              7. Do not use Titler tracks.
              8. If you do have other NB products, install them now with a reboot after each plugin installation.

Can you use the New Blue appmanager and check if you are using the latest version?

The OP says he is using 210609. That is the last titler/bridge version I see. My full version is 7.8.210922

                      I have 11th Gen Intel (R) Core (TM) i9-11900KF @ 3.50GHz 3.50 GHz and Geforce RTX 3070 with 32 GB ram, win 10
I bought an Edius X Pro with the addition of TP7 and there I installed version 7.3 first. I then upgraded to version 7.7 via NewBlue EFX App Manager. I put Acon Digital EDIUS Editions (VST2 Plug-in), proDAD VitaScene V4 EDIUS Edition (EE). Those plugin programs I got with Edius X Pro
Now I have re-installed win 10 from the beginning, and Edius and everything else and now it works to some extent, my Preparing Title no longer appears, but sometimes it doesn't change the font I put but puts the original name and below the subtitle. Somehow I manage to avoid this when I save each title in my directory in NewBlue Title 7. Then after a while it just works. It seems to me that there are several bug problems here and that this should be corrected. Isn't it just me who has that problem?

I ask again, did you try render and add above?

11th Gen is not really compatible with EDIUS yet from what I have been reading in this forum

after working, well sort of an edit of one title affected others, Titl;er pro 7 stopped opening in Edius, I uninstalled, reinstalled all of it. samething. Titler Pro opens fine in standalone. Funny thing the Edius Set up Manager thought/thinks Titler is installed even when it isn't.
