  • New EDIUS Logickeyboard

I just got the new EDIUS Logickeyboard PC Astra 2. Feels a little more heavy duty than the first. The dual USB connector has USB 3 now and that cord is much thicker.
The keys have MUCH more detail on them that now tell you what it is as well as the icons. It has a couple of more EDIUS green play button icons on the Enter keys. A couple of the F keys are a different color.
    Love the back-lit keys. Nice!

            in US$ it is $149

It has several USB3 ports, so you can insert USB sticks right at the keyboard

My main concern is if they changed how the key caps are attached. I have the previous model and I'm sitting here with 4 keys missing because
the key caps keep popping off. The keyboard is 2 1/2 years old. The keys began popping off 30 days prior to the warranty expiring.
I complained and they sent more key caps that merely continued the endless cycle of key caps popping off. Not once did they offer to replace the keyboard.

I asked them last week if they had improved how the key caps were fastened and they basically said yes. They did offer me 10% and then failed to send the code to me.

I certainly hope they have improved the build quality. I'm a bit hesitant to spend $149 for a repeat disappointment. The old saying goes "Fool me once, shame on you, Fool me twice, shame on me."

That said, I really liked the keyboard....when it was fully functional.

              Here is my original post.
