  • Vitascene for intros to videos

I've never used After Effects but appreciate its regarded as the King of video animation but how powerful is the Vitascene with Edius X?

    Anyone using it?

Vitascene has cool filters and transitions, especially the new Seamless Transitions

but it is not an animation software at all

                you double click the installer.exe

or do you mean you want to install Vitascene4 for EDIUS X to EDIUS 9? if so, just install it for X and then copy the tpi from the X plugins to 9 plugins folder

The installation of V4 is successful.
I find the V4 effects in Edius 9.
However the thumbnails are fixed and all marked V4.
Is it possible to get animated thumbnails?
If possible, how do you get them?
                  Thanks for your help.

I can't repeat that, I see thumbnails and when I click, they animate, see attached

did you buy V4 and activate it? or are you using the free version that comes with X?

did you install it on the PC with EDIUS9? if you just copy the tpi from an EDIUS X PC, you will not have thumbnails because the program also needs to be installed. You can have EDIUS X and 9 on the same PC, then you can copy the tpi and it will work in 9 and X

                      Thanks for your help.
I work with Edius 9 and it is a V4 version offered (?).
Aside from the lack of preview effects in the thumbnails, everything works just fine.

I come back with the same subject ...
This time with an official version of Vitascene 4 that I see the problem.
                        The thumbnails are not animated.
                        EDIUS_X_Vitascene_V4_Presets.jpg
Is the problem posed by a bad configuration of Win10?
Thank you in advance for your help.

                        what is the tpi ?

the tpi is the prodad.tpi plugin you should find in the EDIUS Plugins folder

I have no issues with the thumbnail animations in Win10, it also worked the same in Win7

send an email to [email protected] and they will soon give you some things to check
