  • VisTitle subtitle suddenly very slow workflow

    Hi to all,
Suddenly, creating subtitle with VisTitle has become very slow. Either in ver 2.8 (dongle) or ver 2.9 (digital ser. num) which I purchased today. Moving cursor, spliting lines, or lunching playback is followed by few seconds of delay. Impossible to work....I know how to create and work with subtitle tool, but never was so slow. I noticed also slow response on playback on timeline. Once the subtitle is created it is difficult to scroll with the playline, everything get stuck. In that particular moment when I wait to command is executed, power usage in windows Task manager gets "Very high". With main Vistitle window creating ordinary titles is ok. What can cause this? Thank in advance!
BTW, if anybody from VisTitle is reading, it' time to update the workflow of this tool. For example,to be able to resize window in order to make more room for the lines of text and corresponding timecode in-out.

    all the best,
    Josip

is the Vistitle folder excluded from any or all virus programs?

not sure what you mean about resizing window, in my case I can make it any size, even full screen at 2560x1440

Individual interface component resizing has already been requested.
I'm not confident that this feature will be added.

I checked the antivirus and it does not block the VisTitle folder.
Maybe something to do with fonts?
Timeline behaviour like I put on some very big (in size) clip. Every 10 second Edius is freezing, and then come to working status. As soon as I disable subtitle layer timeline become very responsive. Something hard on procesing is going on with subtitle clip active...
Regarding the window: field that contain the title itself and timecode in-out is always the same size, and I can not see the entire title line when editing words.
        Thanks for your help!

your Visdtitle is set to render by character, that can slow it with so many titles, try render by line
