  • New Graphics Card for New Blue CK

I put this off a year or two back by reducing preview quality but as my Graphics card died on my E8 W7 machine and I'm running on a temp card, I'm looking for current recommendations to get RT from the NB CK. I'm not into Resolve in a big way so this monster is beyond overkill https://www.ebuyer.com/785730-asus-g...SABEgKepfD_BwE

Realistically what is giving good RT results.

What was the previous card, what is your CPU , and what is your PSU wattage.
I would be concerned as to why the previous card died.

If NB CK is the Chroma Key Pro filter, I get RT with my 4790k and a 980ti Classified.
I prefer the ti cards. Take a look at the 1070ti if you don't want, or need, the 1080ti.

700W PSU - i7 5960. Previous card was a modest GV N730 which has been fine for everything except RT CK from NB.
It just stopped producing an output although the fan was working and the PC booted up and shutdown normally with the "off" button. Tested in another system - definitely no output.

I would look at the 1060-1080ti cards. The 1070ti is a good compromise.
Even though you could probably pick up a 980ti for a somewhat reasonable price, I would ignore the 900 series and get a good 1000 series card.
