Why is it that Edius never updates it's transitions. Why is it that if you need almost anything other than a page curl, you need to rely on 3rd party products like New Blue and others, that although they try, the quality is not as smooth as it would be if it were part of Edius.

Why can't we have simple, yet powerful transitions like these:

Gigabyte Z77X-UP4 TH, Intel Core i7 3770k 3.5GHz, 4 Core, 8 Threads, 32GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 2GB, 500GB SSD HDD for OS, 40TB Usable Hard Drive Capacity, Window 10 PRO 64-bit Edius 9.5 WORKSTATION...

That must be on your end. I have TFX3 and all of those are processed as 10bit. The quality is very good.
If you're talking about playback, that is system dependent.

I agree. Don't have quality issues with the NB trasitions.

Also someone posted a tutorial how to create those kind of transition with EDIUS. There was also a movie showing them. I can't seem to find that post.

      Anyone have an idea? :)

Either way, there are plenty of 3rd party FX plugins.

Yes and doing your part as a paid editor can add a lot of value to your productions.
Customers can buy all those transition packages and stick their IPhone or Samsung phone footage. :)

It is good to do something they can't purchase...... Amaze with creativity.

if project setting is 10bit, the NB filters and transitions will be 10bit

to be honest, I am a cut and dissolve only man, I hardly ever use any of them unless a customer insists
