It's been years since I last used Edius 6. I'm using the trial version of Edius v8.31.1333 and trial version of DVDlab-Pro v2.52. How do I export SD projects so that I can add then as an asset in DVDlab-Pro. I was able to Export -> Burn Disc and made a DVD.
(1) The resultant DVD video was extremely tiny when played on my TV. It was a HDMI to USB capture. The file created was 720x480, 8300kbps (total 9836kbps), 4:3, Upper Field, 29.97, stream type mpeg2 video, audio 1536kbps, 2ch stereo, 48khz. Since my laptop doesn't have any type of video capture capability, I used Diamond's One Touch Video USB capture. It creates mp4 files with the above specs. I then added these to Edius 8 (trial version).
(2) None of the export formats I've chosen are accepted by DVDlab. Last I remember it wanted mpv and mpa files. I really don't remember anything about how to do this or what type of input or output project I should select.
(3) When I rendered the entire project (to see what kind of file it created) the resultant file didn't have any audio when I put it on the timeline (the audio track was enabled).
So to summarize I'd like to know how to create (export) files from Edius 8 so that I can use them in DVDlab-Pro to create a DVD.
