are all clips on the timeline MXF files or did you add some of the associated XML files to reference the MXF?

We have two versins of PE 2.03:

            - Build 8275 - works with JVC XDCDAM EX only if seperate *.MP4 files without metadada are direclty brought from Windows explorer onto Edius timeline. This build does not work with AVCHD.

            - Build 8870c - does not work JVC XDCAM EX. Works fine with AVCHD instead. I thik 8870 also works fine with AVCHD but not with XDCAM EX.

Workflow for mixed footage then is first install the old build and let the utility generate synchronisation cache files. When the program gets to the AVCHD files the process will end with error. Install newer build and generate synchronisation cache files for AVCHD and finish the syncrhonisation.

JVC XDCAM EX presumably are the same as Sony' XDCAM EX since Sony's Content browser recognizes them as their own.

              version 2.0.3 (8870)

              I have the Pluraleyes 2.0.3 (8870)
When I bring the files from my Sony pmw200 camera directly from explorer it works (MP4)!!! But how can I bring the MP4 files into the timeline without having to go and look for them one by one in each folder?

                  source browser

Can you please help me use source browser? I don't see the files there. I never used it before so I may be doing something wrong. How do I search for the files in the source browser? I just don't see them.

I open the "Total Commander", navigate to the card contents, click on the button called "Show all files in current dir and all subdirs" (the sixt icon from the left) sort files by extension, select all .MP4 files in that card and drag them onto a timeline.

On my system Edius 6.5 Source browser picks up XML data that Pluraleyes version 2.0.3 does not understand, that's why I was resorting to bare *.M4 import for the synchronization purposes.

That sounds like exactly what I need. I am afraid of downloading some virus into my computer. Can you tell me the website to use to download the total commander?
