I have generated a short movie and imported it into VisTitle. It's 25 fm length and when imported I can get it to cycle, but not cycle just the once and then freeze. Is this possible and how can I achieve it without exporting the final frame as a still?

    Many thanks

There are a few ways to accomplish this, but none of them is as easy as adding the last frame of the sequence to the timeline and dragging it out to match the length needed.

    But, you could:

    1. just before creating your vistitle movie you can create a still and add it to the end of the existing clip. Then extend it out to what you need.
Then create your sequence. This way the hold will be built into the Vistitle movie.

    2. Create your Vistitle movie and import it into Vistitle. Import the last frame of the sequence into Vistitle as an image.
Place the image on the track below your Vistitle movie and at the end of the top timline, and then drag it out to what you need.
Save the project as an animated one and return to Edius. Drag the end of the clip out and you will have the hold within the Vistitle clip.

    3. Just add the last frame to the sequence to the Vistitle clip on the Edius timeline.

Either way that last frame has to be duplicated.

Thanks Jerry, it hadn't occurred to me that bringing the final still back into VisTitle is another way of doing it. I sort of hoped there would be an 'extend last frame' button in VT that I had missed somewhere.

      Cheers
