vistitler disappeared

    vistitler disappeared

    for some reason, my vistitles disappeared. it doesnt show in the dropdown now when im on the title line, only quick titler.
    i can open it up separately.
    how do i reconnnect. when i open it up, i dont see the edius tab in the program to save it.

      yes, so weird, am hving to use quicktitler, so ancient and slower

        Does it show up in Task Manager as running

          Try reinstalling it.

            also, check with windows explorer that the following file exists in the EDIUS Plugin folder, if not, an antivirus software may have quarantined it

              Please tell me your EDIUS version and VisTitle version.

              Do you upgrade your EDIUS to more higher version recently ? If upgrade from 7 to 8, you have to reinstall VisTitle 2.6 again. Please go to www.vistitle.com to download latest 2.6 installer.

                Last time this happened to me was when I closed Edius on a dual screen setup on my laptop with VT positioned last on the second dispaly. I started up again on a single screen and VisTitle didn't appear. It was still on the (now absent) second display I guess.

                Vx kindly guided through getting it back.

                More or less retired now. Still on the Essex(UK) coast. Edius 8.2wg all sorts of other, more or less redundant kit - production & Post.
