  • Vistitle gone missing

I am using Vistitle 2.5.0 and EDIUS 7.31. Suddenly all Vistitler titles are gone across all projects. Vistitle clearly is no longer a working plug in. Anyone have experience on how to restore Vistitler's use without losing the titles?

good thought...it appears to be seated OK...should the end-cap (where the tag is attached) be lighted when on?

I'll have to wait until a 2 hour download ends so I can shut down and restart with the dongle in a different slot. Another good idea. Thanks. Guess it's time to weed the shade garden :-)

You don't have to reboot to move the dongle. You should be able to just unplug it and try it in a different slot

I touched the dongle to move it. It flashed and stayed on for 5-10 secs and went off. I moved it, but no response or change. The tip is not lit.

tried a third usb port..still saying device driver not recognized. I'll wait until the transfer is done and try a new slot with Vistitler dongle and a fresh boot.

                  Try this:
                  Uninstall Vistitle 2.5.
                  Reboot the system

If you haven't already done so, download the Vistitle 2.6 installer from the EU server.
                  http://www.visdownload.com/dow/VisTi...6_ENG_Full.zip

Now download the dongle driver from here:
                  ftp://ftp.cis-app.com/pub/hasp/Senti....9_Windows.zip

Now install the dongle driver and then reboot. The driver will overwrite the older driver.

                  Install Vistitle 2.6 and reboot.

                  What are your results.

You can also uninstall the Dongle manually. It should have SuperPro attached to it.

As long as it's on the same machine, once you get the dongle working you won't have to worry about a serial.

                        Jerry,
Did your step by step...the dongle seemed to install OK.
Vistitle started to install and never completed, instead it ended up giving me the message:
"Hardware Key is illegal, do you want to insert and check it again?" changing usb port with dongle then gives me message that hardware did not install.

                        Stuck. :-(
