    proDAD Upgrade

In a couple of days proDAD is launching a $99 special upgrade on Amazon.com for VitaScene V2 Pro. VitaScene SE/LE was bundled for awhile with EDIUS 5.x and 6.x and as those folks move up to EDIUS 7/7.5/8 they need this upgrade. Amazon is the best deal for one to 5 licenses but over 5 a studio license direct from proDAD will be the best option.

That is a good deal. I just looked at the price for V2 Pro and I was shocked. I remember getting V1 pro and upgrading, but the total was no where near the price now.
If you're upgrading from V1 LE to V2 Pro, it is being sold for $299 on the Prodad website.
Getting that for $99 is a no brainer.
On a newer computer with a good GPU, most of the effects are real time. The Bokeh effects always wreak havoc on a system.

Also, make sure to set up an account with Prodad. This makes getting updates easier. I go to the service update tab periodically and download the installers for the Prodad products that I own. This is much better than trying to get an update without an account.
Take the time to create an account.

Never had any issues getting an update without an account. Just go to the original email they sent you that has the serial number and download link in it and click on the download link, that is always linked to the latest version.

That has never worked for me. The download link that was in the email went bye bye years ago. I'm talking within 2 months of the purchase. The account solved all of that.

After calling Prodad US 3 years ago, it became apparent that it was a US issue.
I've also gotten a couple of decent freebies through the account.
Besides, it's faster for me to log in to the account than go looking for my V2 email and link.

If it's V2 then just download the latest 64bit build and it should install, I know mine did

It depends on what the full version includes. I would because of the SAL version.

Amazon was a bit pokey getting the product listed, but here it is:

                              US customers

                              UK customers

Anyone in other countries can send an email to: [email protected] and we’ll give them instructions on how to get the special upgrade.
