I second that there is something else happening in the setup. You should have a clone of your system, if not, well this is a learning moment.
I would start from a fresh install and go from there. If you have purchased Edius 8, this would be the time to do your Edius 8 install. Also, make a clone of your system drive.
I have 4 clones for one system.
1. Fully functioning Windows 7 only setup
2. Win 7 setup with ancillary programs and Adobe CC 2015 installed.
3. Win 7 setup with ancillary programs, Adobe CC 2015, and Edius 7.5 installed
4. Win 7 setup with ancillary programs, Adobe CC 2015, and Edius 8 Workgroup installed.
Yes, it takes time to do the original setup. However, when it comes time to fix something, it takes about 20 minutes.

you will get a quicker fix sending an email direct to ISP with a screenshot of the error
between you and me, I would install Windows fresh and then do all updates manually, and keep automatic updates turned off

Just creating a profile should not have anything to do with any programs.

The correct *.zip file has a size of 11,5 MB
I had the same error and this was the solution.

It should be common practice to turn any Antivirus OFF for any installation
Maybe a restart, turning the computer off, waiting 10-20 seconds with the power turned off at the power point may help

Not sure if robuskey is also affected by Antivirus software / windows defender during installation like Edius is.
Can someone confirm ?
