Audio Compressor Plug-in for 7.50?

I've downloaded and tried to install a few audio compressor VSTs with no luck.

Endorphin, c3Mulitband, and Audiocation do not show up when the .dlls are places in the VST folder.

Some Reaper VSTs appear in the effects list but crash Edius when I try to go into settings. (http://www.reaper.fm/reaplugs/)

Is there any free compressor I can use in Edius?

Izotope Ozone 5 is very good in Edius nice and clean takes out any distortion peaks (red coloured levels) provided they haven't overloaded the recording device.

I use George Yohng's Limiter on bed music as it keeps it all at a set level so it doesn't intrude.
