  • Fade in/out on Vistitle titles.

When I make a simple text title in Vistitle I add it to a video track above my main V/A track. Is there a way to have a fade in/out be included with the title or added to the title automatically?

The was I do it now is to add a dissolve to the in and out points of the first title. Then I left click on the mixer track under the title and drag it to the next title and the fade in/outs get added.

There must be a better way. I have the box ticked in the duration dialog to add the fade in/out.

I select the keyer track of the title or clip or still and drag the dissolve to the info palette, this creates in and out in one hit

If the automatic fade in/out is that important, you could always use the title track. I'm not recommending that method, but if having the function added automatically is what you want above flexibility, then that might be for you.

Just place the cursor where you want the title to start, and right click within the title track. A Vistitle title will appear with both in and out fades. Once again, if you don't need the flexibility of a Video track, this might be your answer.
