I did a wedding and the audio out put of my receiver was very low. I can recover it BUT theres a hiss. Adobe used to have a plug-in that fixed it pretty well. What plug-in for Edius would do the job?

I use master restoration from wavearts but you maybe shocked by the price?

if it is a constant hiss, you can also remove it with the EDIUS parametric eq filter by notching it out (let me know if you need help with that filter)

Things have changed from a few years ago. Now we have several plugins that can do the job. It just depends on how much you are willing to spend.
I use Ozone 5 Advanced for things like this.

If you have Adobe Audition you could export the file and remove the hiss there. On the free front, you could download Audacity and remove the hiss there.

          Is this the one?

Thats not bad, if it plugs into Edius its worth the purchase.

Just a heads up I bought the wave arts master restoration suite for a job I had issues on. it worked "OK" but when I exported to bluray with quicksync it crashes I eventually got through the project by exporting software only but FYI it appears to be incompatible with quicksync. I dont knwo whats going to happen Edius 8 uses Quicksync more it may br unstable.

it could be that quicksync can't handle that

a quick way around would be to print to file, pcm wave, place the new wave below and mute the above. should be very quick to do this

I just exported a 30 minute file to BD using QS and Master Restoration and it went well.
Here is a screen shot of the encode time using Edius 8:

Well I did like 4 exports and the only 2 unusal factors were the plug-in and quicksync. Soon as I did a software only encode it was fine. I a doing a lot of work now when I finish my next job I will export via quicksync without the plug-in to see if it works. I suspect it will because I do it all the time and havent had an issue til this one. Also this encode was really long 2:45 maybe that had something to do with it.
