      AE Plugins Testing Continued

The caveat is that this applies to my system 4 set up as in the signature, others may have different results with a different hardware set up.

The Attached Jpeg shows the AE plugins folder list, excluding NewBlue and Vistitle which live in the GV Plug-ins folder.

Generally filters that have a mask or shape in which to apply the effect, do not show that shape, or the effect is not defined by the shape.

Some of the light rays ones in GenArts Sapphire memory leak into GPU2 memory despite Nvidia control panel being configured to GPU1 only for Cuda and OpenGL

Ones not listed below in the Plug-ins packs generally work, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that BCC9 generators did produce rain and snow.

In the folders the following were removed as causing issues or not working at all.

      BCC9

      3WayColorGrade not supported in host.
      Beat Reactor
      Bulge not supported in host
      GLImage Shatter

Yes John it seems less than clear cut in terms of crashing or not, depending on hardware configurations and other software installed.

As an aside, I'd like to mention that many of the FEC effects (and transitions) are available directly to Edius through Boris Red.
I have taken 2 screen shots.

                That is very true, Jerry
Any effects done in Boris Red need to be rendered.
I was just pointing out that there are other places that you can access the FEC Effects from, without having to round-trip.
I seldom use the FEC Effects, but I did a couple of tests just now, and I did not have any problems with crashes.............. but I did need to render
