That is good. It seemed to be a little quicker than ES actually.

no negative impact other than longer time needed to compile

I did not notice anything in making the disc. When would this take place and would it have a negative impact? Any re-encoding?

but then TAW has to demux the file prior to remuxing

I will also check this .
tested with rounding off, still the same problem, but only with 59.94p

try 10min worth, by the time you get to 10min in the Blu-ray you will be out by almost a second

in all my tests it was on, which is EDIUS default

    should it be off?

23.98p, 24p and 59.94i are all fine, so only the 59.94p has an issue

yes, 50p is fine and 50i is also fine

I also make regular NTSC DVD from EDIUS ES export and they are also fine

I have not tested 24p or 23.98p but I will do that as well just to be sure

    1. export to ES from EDIUS m2v+ac3 384

    3. author with perfect sync in TAW4 or 5

I tested the encoding with Mastering Works5 and it keeps perfect sync in Authoring Works5

so I will report this issue, it is an EDIUS fault

I have tested and confirm your findings

59.94p elementary streams exported from EDIUS are totally out of sync in TAW5

I will test Tmpeg5 Matering Works as an encoding tool, if that works, we know EDIUS is at fault, if it also fails, we know TAW5 can't handle 59.94P ES files
