Thanks for that I thought it was my setup that was the problem. I can live with rendering times if I need to view.

I have my 3770 running at 4.4 and the GTX 780 OC'd as well.
That is the only way that I am able to get RT with a buffer prefill.

20min. video taking 43 min. to render is this normal?

I just upgraded to a GTX 780 and with a buffer prefill I get realtime playback over multiple clips. Hopefully, the Hex core will be able to play Robuskey without a prefill.
There is no comparison in quality between Robuskey and the native keyer.

Reading these posts I get the imprssion that all Robuskey addtions to clips will not run in real time unless the computer is super fast. Which is not so in Edius Chromakey.

Yep, looks like the 16 thread Haswell-E Extreme chip and the x99 platform for me late next year. My X58 system needs an update.

Just tested with an AVCHD file with Robuskey, and an HQX file under, plays full real time until you add say, a 40pixel edge blur and mask blur at 20, then it will real time for 1 minute with a buffer pre-fill. (both streams running off the same Raid 0 drive) CPU reads 55%

With only a mask blur it will real-time all day.

I didn't say fully. I can get it to play for a short amount of time. But, he is talking a 20 minute clip. There is no way I can play a 20 minute Robuskey key in real time.
Are you saying the 4930 can do that? If that is the case, when I go to the X99 platform this time next year, I should be set for a while.

It is much slower in the 32 bit Edius versions. In some cases I can get RT for a short period of time. 20 secs. Render time is much less in Edius 7.
