I still believe most of the plugins work best with a Geforce card rather than a Quadro card. In general it is the total of cuda cores that push the effects.
I just did a test using Red files(1/4 res) in a 1920x1080 project with an Intense Stretch Blur Defocus #68 transition followed by clip with a color filter applied.
Both played through in Real time. This is on an Ivybridge using an old, old GTX 285.

Check your card. If it comes out as acceptable, which it should, there might be something else wrong.
thank you gerry, I already did run the program, and indeed everthing should be working fine. I don't know if the problem may is the coexience of the hd4600 and the k2000 in my system. i tried to deactivate the hd4600 in the bios, windows starts up but edius freezes half say to startup...

odd behaviour, I'm quite lost right now...

Only in SD can I get realtime. :)

The test program is a bit useless...
thanks steve, so i'll have to switch to a gtx, prodad could be clearer on this one... they only say that you need some shader3 card with 2 gig of ram to have realtime hd effects...

can you give me some advice in which card to buy?

        thanks again!

Is your K2000 listed and selected in this dropdown?

It would be best to test the K2000 with the HD 4600 disabled in the bios. Shut the system down and unplug the cable from the HD 4600 and connect it to the Quadro. Try to disable the HD4600.
If you can't get the HD 4600 to disable, hooking both monitors to the Quadro and setting the Quadro as your GPU in the GPUfx panel should work.
Now try a Prodad transition/filter to test.
