trouble finding Vistitle 2.5 in Edius 6.55

Have you tried deleting your user profile and setting up a new one (sometimes fixes odd things)

on my 7.01 have on win_7 some troubles with Vistitle 2.5
all are in cause to the profile, what have Edius createt, by the "Standard Upgrade" from Edius 6.5
not following the (delete or rename folder) rules from http://www.videoproductions.com.au/h...tallation.html )

create a new profile and change to this .... solve the problems

curios .... the same profile imported in 7.x from a cloned 6.5 (before 7.0 update)
have not this issue, it looks for me, the profile goes only corrupt in cause when Edius upgrade and write the profile bad.

When moving to a new version of Edius it is always smart to create a new profile for that particular version. Each version has new features that in, some cases, require setup.

Having to run Edius as Administrator was fixed some time ago in 6.5, 6.55 with 2.35 is ok but it appears to have returned in Edius 7 with VT 2.5

I have just installed Vistitle 2.5 on a system with EDIUS 6.55 and it turned up immediately. The plug in is called VtEDIUSImporter7.tpi, even though it is in EDIUS 6.55.

You say there is nothing under tools (the template library etc) what about when you click the T button on the timeline, is Vistitle listed?

I had a problem with the title template library in EDIUS 7/Windows 8, that seemed to be caused by premissions and Vistitle needing to be run "as administrator" so something similar could possibly stop the template library appearing in Windows 7 (maybe). However I still had Vistitle listed on the "T" button on the timeline and could use it.

Other questions (the answer to which may or may not help):

• Are you logged on as administrator?
• What graphic card are you using and with which drivers?

I do not have Vistitle listed in the 'T' button which I assume has all the features. Please tell me the template library isn't all we get with Vistitle because that alone is unworkable.
I will create a new profile and see if the full version shows up.

You have seen template library in EDIUS 7.2, but you did not see VisTitle in "T" button ? My god :(, what is happened ?

I will let our engineers to download latest E7 (7.2) to test it...

I created a new user profile and Vistitle showed up under the 'T' for title.

Thanks all for your help, now if I can only remember where to make Vistitle my default titler.

Ok, I will try that. If I am not mistaken I did download the full version of Vistitle 2.5 and installed that and now I no longer have 1.5 on my machine. Vistitle 2.5 uninstalled 1.5. I only needed the 1.5 serial to buy 2.5.

I will uninstall 2.5 and re install that. Vistitle sent me 2 serials, one for upgrade and one for full install at least thats what it said.

It did not give me any choice for what Edius I have so not sure I can select Edius 6.5.

If this does not work I might have to wait until I get Edius 7 which I am getting as soon as they send me a link to download 7. I bought 6.5 in the time window that allows me to upgrade to 7 for free.

1) VisTitle 2.5 installer only need a upgrade serial number if your dongles is 1.x, if the dongle is already 2.x, then installer will run automatically without serial number to be input. Upgrade Sn is like "P xxxx", Dongle Sn is "XZ xxxx ".

2) Installer will find the EDIUS installation folder from windows registry, it is not necessory to let user to select EDIUS, A exception, if your machine have both E6 and E7 installed, we will only install for E7.
