    Jerry,

I'm using your layer and grouping example, with 1 red rectangle as a test < I was hoping > to simulate the back of the letter without text to flip over and reveal the letter.
It seems that rotating a group with these two objects won't actually flip the layers. Can you think of anything I missed?
    Thanks again

Do this and you will get exactly what you want.
Perfect example of the great help in this forum, how powerful Vistitle can be, and how good Jerry's tutorial's WILL be. I've only had about 15 solid minutes in the UI, and your demo layout file provided a great grouping/layering solution for animating single letters and filling in the "cut out"' letters within the font block.

    Thanks again.

yes.... I'm having letters come on 1 at a time to build lower thirds and spell out the text.

Do you want to animate each letter?

Great. I look forward to it.

I loaded the layout file and it looks fine, but when I try to animate the letters
to build out the type, I really can't because of the white rectangle.
If you can think of any other way to keep the letter portion solid, I could use some of the preset "build effects.
If not, I'm very happy with the help you've provided.
Maybe its just the nature of the font itself and not something that Vistitle can control.
    Thanks again.

I am working on it now. I still have to set up the website and get it to work with international currency. I'm hoping I can have it out by the middle of October.
This is going to stretch from the basics to slightly advanced. So, it is going to encompass a lot of territory.
If there is something in particular that you are interested in learning within those parameters, PM me and I will try to include it.

Once the website is up and running, there will be some free tutorials on there as well.

yes... the program looks very powerful and I love that fact that it is all RT in Edius. What are you doing in you last example? Is it the baby block font?
Is there a way you can share the preset you made?

    Thanks!

That's great. Is it using the baby blocks font or something similar?.... with some
    customizing?
    Thanks Jerry.
