Will VisTitle use fonts from your installed windows font dir? Or does it come with its own fonts?
Waiting for my dongle to arrive today so I can install - my UPS driver is late!

Whatever you have installed in your font folder will be used.

Hi Jerry! I'm glad you responded. I know you know allot about VisTitle. Look at image I have attached. I'll be trying to recreate this type of block letter font to spell out titles. Do you think I'll have to build each letter-graphic? Or is it possible to make a pre-set and then just type the letters out and have them be composed in the blocks as I type?

      Thanks

        Try dafonts.com.

I can't say that exact one is there, but it is a wonderful source of unusual fonts. Start off looking under the Cartoon section.

Thanks Jerry. Just got my Vistitle installed. I did find a font called babyblock and loaded it with the 3d text plugin and got a similar result. The only issue is the cut out of the letters.< because it is overlaying video > My font did the same thing. If the text was solid on the block.... I could get by with the font face... if it was solid white.

Look at these. This is not using 3D plugin.

That's great. Is it using the baby blocks font or something similar?.... with some
                  customizing?
                  Thanks Jerry.

You will find that you can do a lot with Vistitle. It is a very powerful program once you get into it. The fancy smancy parts take a little to get used to. But, if you have any experience with AE and keyframing, you can make the program work for you very quickly.

yes... the program looks very powerful and I love that fact that it is all RT in Edius. What are you doing in you last example? Is it the baby block font?
Is there a way you can share the preset you made?

                      Thanks!

It is the Baby Block Font 22. Just take the .zip off of the end of this. Import it into Edius and you can open it up and see for yourself.

I am working on it now. I still have to set up the website and get it to work with international currency. I'm hoping I can have it out by the middle of October.
This is going to stretch from the basics to slightly advanced. So, it is going to encompass a lot of territory.
If there is something in particular that you are interested in learning within those parameters, PM me and I will try to include it.

Once the website is up and running, there will be some free tutorials on there as well.

Great. I look forward to it.

I loaded the layout file and it looks fine, but when I try to animate the letters
to build out the type, I really can't because of the white rectangle.
If you can think of any other way to keep the letter portion solid, I could use some of the preset "build effects.
If not, I'm very happy with the help you've provided.
Maybe its just the nature of the font itself and not something that Vistitle can control.
                              Thanks again.
