  • New Blue Note re: Edius Pro 7

    From an e-mail I received earlier today:

    "Thank you for contacting NewBlueFX. We appreciate your interest in NewBlueFX.

    As of today, we do not yet support Edius 7. We have received the new API and I am sure it will be supported in the future. I cannot give you a specific date as to when Edius 7 support will be ready. Please watch our website, facebook and twitter feeds, and e-mails to receive notification as to when that support is available."

    Mean this, my NewBlue Film Effects dosn't run on Edius7 ?
    Love the glow-effect in this plugin ... so, therefore i'll not upgrade to version 7, until a new version of this plugin come out (or have Edius7 a glow effect already inside?).

    Will update my Cyberlink PowerDirector/ColorDirector to version12 first, because there is a glow-effect already available ... v12 with this HDR-video possibility make a good impression to me ...

      Vitascene 2 has a ton of glow effects. It is also Edius 7 capable.

        Thanx Jerry,

        but why should I buy a effect two times? BTW, in NewBlue "Film Effects" I use the diffusion slider only. It gives me exactly what I want, a nice touch in my videos ... I'll wait with my Edius update, till NewBlue make it Version7 compatible.

            I was just listing an option for you. Also, Vitascene 2 is real time with Edius 7 and 6.55, depending on your hardware of course. That alone would be enough to move me to purchase Vitascene 2.

            New Blue requires rendering in 6.55. Until there is a product to try, I can't speak for New Blue real time capability in Edius 7.

              I have contact NewBlue Support. He give me a link for this topic. It says, NewBlue plugins compatible with Edius 7 end of october probably ...

              @Jerry
              Vitascene don't have this effect. Check NewBlues' Film Effects - Diffusion-button and you know what I mean.
