    May be a silly question
Is Vistitle 2.5 (64bit) meant to work on Edius 6.54 (32bit). Plugin developers usually have seperate installers for different bit versions of NLE eg Newblu, Boris, Prodad
    System Asus WS Z390 Pro MB, CPU i9 9900K, 32gb 3000mhz Ram, EVGA GTX1070TI, BM IP4K Win 10, BD Burner 1 Evo 840 and 4 Hotswap caddies
    Plugins Vistitle 2.8, TP7, NB TFX5
    Monitors Samsung 32 inch tv as main 1 LG M2350D,1 D2343 1 DM2350D as output to (3D) IP4K, PXW X70,Canon FX400

Thanks Anton. Seeing Ulf was having problems i thought it might have been for Edius 7 only

Me too - I stay on 2.35 on my 6.54 box until I get E 7 - ordered by DVC as well :)

Hi all, been having fun here on the forum with a V2.35 problem (all solved now- thanks vxchen) . I have Edius 6.08 on win 7. If I upgrade to V2.5 is it backward compatible with titles created in V2.35?

On switching over is it a straightforward uninstall of v2.35 and then install V2.5 or are there any quirky files to delete that the uninstall might leave? (I have a rock solid system and would hate to offend it in any way!)
                    Cheers!

                      Hi Rod

I would for sure make an image of your system/application drive before, just to be sure.

I think you should uninstall, and the remove the folder "vistitle" under the Edius programs folde, which Anton pointed out in an earlier post in this thread, and the n I would reboot and install the new one (with dongle inserted).

I am 99% sure that 2.5.0 would be compatible with titles created in 2.3.5.

If you make an image just before upgrading, then you can always roll back.

                      Ulf

thanks Ulf, I missed Anton's post, (probably half asleep from spending too long trying to solve another problem- usually he is essential reading for me!)
