  • VisTitle looping question

Vistitle (I'm using 1.8) appears to have preview bar arrows in the timing bar above the timeline. I can't find anything about this in the manual and when I hit the 'loop play' button it loops the entire length of the timeline rather than just an area of interest. Am I doing something wrong and if not is this fixed in Ver 2?

Also is there a manual available for V2? I can't find anything recent on the web. I'd willingly upgrade but would like to see the benefits that I'd use before doing so.

Here is downloading link for 2.3 manual:

          :)

for VisTitle 2.x, when loop button was checked, then in timline, use hotkey "I" or "O" to set in/out point, and then "Shift+Space" to loop play between these point.

The looping? Yes please Jerry, still can't get my had around what those little arrows are for. I was expecting something like AE but on my V1.87 it doesn't happen that way.

Thanks for the offer of help

I'm away from my system at the moment Jerry, but will try this asap.

It hadn't occured to me that you had to select the endpoints. Doh! Head suitably slapped!

Nope, I still don't get it Jerry. Those little arrow delimiters are white and don't change colour indicating whether they're selected or not. I'm running VT 1.87 in Edius 6.07, perhaps it's that?

Is it not playing, or just not looping?

                          Plays perfectly, just doesn't loop.

I just installed 1.85 full onto a machine and it works fine in stand alone and within Edius. Are you hitting shift + space to playback the file?
Let me add to this that I installed Edius 6.07 and the 1.86 update onto a machine and it works fine there as well. You could uninstall Vistitle and then reinstall
to see if that helps. Otherwise, you must be missing something.
If 1.85 and 1.86 do it, I know 1.87 will.

Those little arrow delimiters are white and don't change colour indicating whether they're selected or not.

These do not change color and all you have to do is move 1 arrow to a left position and 1 arrow to the right position, select the looping button, hit shift + space
and that is all there is to it.
