Strange Behavior with Vitascene 2

I just wanted to see if anybody else has seen this with their Vitascene 2 installation. I purchased the retail product in Feb. and installed it using Edius 6.5 on my new z77 build. When I open the Vitascene 2 interface, sometimes it will take over a minute for it to appear. It builds the interface bit by bit graphically like a 1995 internet page. Or it locks up Edius and I have to close the whole thing down. I am in touch with Prodad support but thought i would ask here as well.

At the time I was trying out the Virtua program to switch between the two graphics cards in my system (Intel & Nvidia). Everything seemed to be working fine.

I then decided it was best to uninstall Virtua and just plug my second monitor into the Intel graphics port. The peformance degraded somewhere in between. I am using the ltest Nvidia drivers which seem good.

Prodad is focusing on confusion between graphics cards. Any ideas?

Which screen does Windows think is being used as your primary monitor? If it thinks the Intel one is primary then you lose a lot of the GPU power in Edius. Right click on the desktop and and bring up the display properties then set the non Intel graphics card as primary.

I checked and the Nvidia display is set to primary.

What nvidia driver version are you using?

The latest and greatest 3.14.22. This issue was there for the previous release as well. I might have to try the old 306.97 drivers as I think they were ok but I changed right away after installing Vitascene.

I am still having this issue and Prodad support is not calling me back. If I put a filter on fresh I can open the interface and adjust the effect.

If I then try to re-open the filter to adjust it goes into a perpetual loop and I have to force close Edius.

Any ideas? Why can't this stuff just work? Frustrated...
