Two effects I've tried (Shadow Drop and OUTLINE from VE4 and VE5) don't seem to work in Edius 6.5 and I'm not sure why. I take something really simple like a line of text, save it as HQ with Alpha. Try to apply the OUTLINE effect and nothing yet on the same clip it works beautifully in After Effects. Is it something I'm doing wrong or is it something with Edius's handling of alpha channel? Or is it New Blue's Edius implementation that's problematic?

Solution Found!
I clicked the "I" icon in the new blue dialog and selected UPDATE. Turns out all of my New Blue plugins were not the latest. After updating, I re-opened Edius and the outline effect was there as soon as the program opened that project!Attached FilesGigabyte mobo with i7 K2600, 16G Ram, Storm Mobile, nVidia 570 but I'm just a hobbyist.
