  • Vistitle Trial won't install on Edius 6.53 system

Downloaded the VisTitle Trial Ver 1.5.2.0 for EDIUS ... but when I try to install it I get a Setup error message "Please install Canopus EDIUS first."

Is there an alternative trial version for VisTitle that I should be using? If not, does anyone know how to get version 1.5.2.0 to install on a newer GV EDIUS system?

    Thanks
    Andy

that is because 6.53 needs Vistitle 2 or later (paid upgrade)

      Bugger.

Well I'm sure it's good software given how many EDIUS users here seem to be using it ... but I'm equally sure I'm not buying it without trying it first! Oh well.

PS Anton, I was gleaning your site for more EDIUS tips and tricks this morning ... it really is an impressive and valuable resource for the EDIUS community and I very much appreciate all the effort, it's great. Many many thanks!

Just in case you've got your ears on today Chen ... Edius 6.5 users over here still limping along with QuickTitle and wanting to try Vistitle. A compatible Demo version would be awesome :-)

                      Thanks

Yes, Bump again, sorry about VisTitle trail version.

As you known, we had released VisTitle 2.5 just now, and it begin to support Premiere Pro and Avid NLE, so our plan is to develope a 2.5 trail version for all platform.

Our engineers is still busy on 2.5 release, so after a few days, they will begin the trail version developement work, so, I am sorry, you have to wait again.
