Just incase any users of PluralEyes for Edius have issues with use may I say that the support over at Red Giant is amazing. Within 48 hours we have gone through the basic support to the full blown down the line debug with files being forwarded , checked , and replies and help issued.

The seem to handle quite a few plugins for Edius and I would head their way when looking for stuff in the future.

Just to get this in context I am the sort of guy that throws the teddy out of the pram if left in the corner for too long ... with these guys I have amazed by the effort and speed.

Yup, same experience here... they are AMAZING !

BTW, anyone knows if they finished PI-3 (?) for E-6.5 ?
I bought mine a month ago and still not available. Using PI-2 now and there are still issues with Win-7 (64) installation. They gave me another .EXE file to try and it works with all segments but the 'last' clip on the timeline always fails and deletes the -master- A1-Audio, subs the cam audio of that single clip.

i found out i have problem syncing my avhcd file it give me error but when i sync my mov file from my cannon dslr it work with no problem.

Not them it was ME !

I found that my second device was not as honest with the recording of time. I could not get the two clips to match and became frustrated.... then it turned out that the audio clip from the second device was longer than the true recording on my 5D3.

Guess I learned that what may sound very similar can in fact be quite different.

Hello forum,
Some info on using PluralEyes 2 with Edius 6.52.
I experienced trouble with Edius 6.52 and the downloads that are provided online from RedGiant website. (You download a zip file from RedGiant that includes PluralEyes programs for Edius, Premiere Pro, and others. the setup file in this was pluraleyes_edius_setup.8175.exe)

After installing, I was not able to sync clips filmed in AVCHD .MTS file format even after rendering in other formats. I initially thought it was due to Edius way of dealing with spanned clips. So I shoti test footage to be sure no spanned clips and good sound to work sync off of. Still didn't work. Renedered as other file types (Canopus HQ). Still nothing.

I kept receiving this error message:
"Unable to process audio portion of media file. AudioLibrary reports error -9 when processing media file [Source file] into audio file [Plural Eyes temp file]."

After a little back and forth a support person, he spoke with his developers and they sent me this link which "uses a different approach for MTS audio extraction."

I am not sure if this is the best version for all Edius users, or just people like me experiencing AVCHD problems. I would go to their support page and let them know you read on GV forum that there was a new version for Edius.

You can see from the link below that this is "pluraleyes_edius_setup.8870.exe"
This installation shows up in my control panel as "PluralEyes 2.0.3 for Edius".

So, are you saying that you can use any type of clip(codec) and it will work properly? This is a big sticking point for me.
