  • Reuse a TMPGENC Video Mastering project

I use a TMPGENC project to convert HD to SD :
    - input file : MPEG HD
    - output file : SD 720 x 576 - elementary stream
I launch it the first time to create an output file.
    No problem.

After that , I modify and increase the input file : duration 10' to 15'
And again I launch the same project, but the ouput file = 10' (and not = 15')

I use a workaround by creating a new project !

Probably, there is a better trick ...

    Open the Project
Delete the file and bring it back in
    or
Go to Edit and drag the end of the file to comply with the new length
If it is shorter the quickest way is to cut
VMW remembers the size originally brought in

start a new project, add the new clip, apply the template you saved, it can't get faster than that

I even have the filter template loaded automatically that eliminates the black pillars

        ...
that's exactly what I usually do.
But, it seems the Bluetongue solution is faster :
"go to Edit and drag the end of the file to comply with the new length"

I was thinking something more simple (settings, ...) but apparently it does not exist.

        Thank for the workarounds.
