  • NewBlue and ProDAD missing

I was just reading the instructions on ProDAD and it showed where it is should in the Video Filters and Transisions area under affects. Well on my 6.51 install they are not there.

The programs or plugins as it may be seem to be there in C:\Program Files (x86) but they are not showing in Edius.

Is there a way to reset thigns so they are discovered again? Or do I need to reload them from the install disc?

    Thanks,

    Jeff

Thanks. So the versions that came with 6.07 when I bought it won't work in 6.5?

Thanks and went and bought the proDad upgrade for Edius 6.5.

Funny but it was an upgrade and loosing built in 3rd party options that moved me from Avid to Grass Valley....of course their's was much more expensive.

If you 'jumped ship' because of 3rd party plugins, you really should step back for a second. The 3rd party plugins can change at any time, with any NLE. AE is the only program to jump to because of plugins. They have tons, and tons. If one leaves, another takes it's place.
Base your NLE decision on the core workings of the editor and not it's fringe element.

It wasn't the only thing but one of many. I understand that all products will get replaced and upgraded at one time or another. I didn't mean to sound to cut and dry on it.

I bought VisaScene for the discounted price and it is working fine. Now I need to find a good 3rd party titler but don't want to pay $300 for it.
