Can someone tell me where I can get the Vistitle v2 upgrade in Australia. Looked at various video outlets but can only find v1 for sale. No mention of an upgrade to v2. Can I buy it from a US supplier as they seem to be the only ones that have the upgrade to v2?

Buy it from Safe Harbor Harro if you can.
FWIW, I tried to help last week by requesting a handful of upgrades direct from Videostar to appease the forum members complaining. Unfortunately they did not see the urgency as I did and re-afirmed they are trying to get Grass Valley to make it happen. I helped Videostar get Vistitle into Australia from day one but now they don't need my help . Good luck.

Mark this is an agreement signed with GV and is not something that Videostar can do. It works the same here in the US. There is one Giant Distributor and it all goes through them. They certainly are not picking on you.

Thanks for that information Mark. Just placed an order for the Vistitle v2 upgrade with them and am now waiting for a new serial number (I guess) to be issued to me. Pity that no one in Australia could provide the v2 upgrade.

Well the man from Beijing spoke to the man from Wisconsin who emailed me the serial number and after a bit of RTFM on my part Vistitle 2 is safely installed. (Although there are so many extras that it will take me forever to understand it!) . Four days approx from the order to the final serial number. Probably shorter if you allow for time zones. Note I did copy the number from the dongle key (the one on the plastic ring) and it worked. I did hesitate when sending the number as I had to decide whether it should be a numeric "1" or an alpha lower case "L" or an upper case "i" . Sometime when inserting Windows serial numbers I have had similar problems. With luck in due course one will be able to purchase the upgrade from a local dealer. Anyway its done and undoubtedly Vistitle 2.0 is very good.

The other reason for copying through the splash screen is many
have had to replace their dongles. I had to this week.
So the dongle number is nothing like the serial number.
