Yeah,
formatted Subrip files are now interpreted correctly!
No need for manual correction anymore!
This is a huge timesaver for me!
I archived that before by splitting subtitle files in three parts:
- 1st file contained all subtitle spottings without format tags
- 2nd file contained all partial formatted (single words or phrases) subtitle spottings (manual formatting in subtitle editor)
- 3rd file contained all full formatted subtitle spottings
All subtitle tracks has been layed in the timeline!
Can you put some references related to SRT format tags in the manual to take care that tags are archived for export to SRT file?
With this information film makers would be able to set the right format tags from start now!
Thank you so much!
It really works like a charme!
Cheers

In my case I have gone from a reasonably stable version 1.8.0 to a new version 1.8.5 that crashes every time. It won't edit an existing title, and it cannot create a new one, even in a blank project. As soon as I try to add any sort of object (text, image or rectangle) it crashes. As soon as I hit the Edius tab it crashes.
This does appear to be Edius related. The standalone version, which I never use, seems to be OK.
I am having to regress to the old version.

OK reverted to 1.8.0 then tried again. Didn't do anything different, but now VisTitle 1.8.5 works perfectly. Go figure!

I recently purchased Vistitle 1.8.0 and it installed and ran fine.
Installing the update to 1.8.5 today ran OK, when but running Vistitle via Edius 6 VT would crash as soon as I tried to do anything, like create a title.
Following Anton's comment about antivirus, I uninstalled Vistitle, and turned off antivirus in BitDefender, reinstalled VT 1.8.0 then 1.8.5. Rebooted and turned AV back on, and so far Edius and Vistitle are running OK. I even managed to install Edius 6.07 using the same process.
As my system is not used just for video edits I always have a good AV and firewall program running.
PS - I had not been able to access the Vistitle website since purchasing VT a week ago. Kept getting ERROR PAGE. If any one else has this problem, use this IP address to get to the VT web page - http://96.0.234.168/

I check www.vistitle.com in here, it is ok. Is there any one has this problem too?

I can't open with IE only with Firefox.
I'm going to reload 1.85 today. I loaded in Friday, but Vistitler now crashes when I open it in Edius.
