MPEG Elementary Stream and TMPG Authoring Works

This question probably reveals my ignorance but let me ask anyway. When exporting to file using MPEG Elementary stream, I create a video and an audio file which I give the same name except for the file extension. When importing into Authoring Works, I get 2 files (tracks) but they both appear to be the same file. Is this normal and how do I deal with them? Do I keep them both or delete one? I see no indication that one is video and one is audio. One is usually named PLAYLIST and I forget what the other is called.

An explanation would be greatly appreciated.

I tried it again and this time only one file showed up.

Must be making some typing error. It seems to work now.
