  • Good Vistitle Examples?

    Hi,

I want to get a good titler to use in Edius 6 and I'm choosing between Vistitle and New Blue Titler Pro. I'm thinking of going for Vistitle since DVC.co.uk seem to be doing a good deal on it in the UK (http://www.dvc.uk.com/acatalog/GRASS_VALLEY_OFFERS.html).

However, I've downloaded the trial version of Vistitle 1.5 and I don't seem to be able to do much in it. For example, when I try to add a light effect to some text I just get a "Encountered an improper argument" error message. Is there any way to fix this? I assume this is just because some features are disabled in the trial version?

So was just wondering if anyone has any links to videos showing some good examples of the kind of titles you can create in Vistitle? The ones I have seen in the videos on the vistitle website look very basic and a bit unprofessional. I'm assuming the software is capable of producing some pretty professional looking titles when you push its capabilities a bit harder?

    Many thanks,
    Jamie

I understand, but you should not be guided in a simple example, but the features it has to make their own professional title animations.

When using VisTitle 1.5 trial version, if it is installed to C:\Program files (x86) \EDIUS\PlugIn folder, you have to run EDIUS or VisTitle stand alone with administrator rights. This issues is fixed from VisTitle 1.8 full version.

For avoid this problem, and if you would like to continue try it, I suggest you uninstall VisTitle 1.5 trail, and reinstall it to C:\VisTitle folder. Then administrator right is not necessory.

Do you have download our video demos in http://www.vistitle.com/download.asp?DownSortIDCX=1, it can show you some key features about VisTitle. And 1.5 trial version had preinstalled a lots of template to be tried. ( in EDIUS ,Ctrl+F12 will popup preset libray window, in VisTitle, you can use Ctrl+Tab to switch timeline and template library window).
