    VisTitle / EDIUS

I delivered a copy of VisTitle to a customer today - along w/ EDIUS 6 upgrade from EDIUS 5. I installed it for him and his system seems to be working the way it is supposed to - using EDIUS 6.05 and VisTitle 1.8.

I get the background image each time I go into VisTitle.

On my home system I have VisTitle version 1.6.1.0 - w/ EDIUS 5 on Windows XP Pro - and this version does not show the background when I first enter into VisTitle - regardless of whether I launch it from BIN or Timeline window.

Maybe upgrading to VisTitle 1.8 will help - so I'll try that next.

In any case, I guess this is just one of those weird issues that is hard to pinpoint. I do want to reiterate that I have seen the same issue on numerous other EDIUS/VisTitle systems.....over the last 6-8 months - so apparently there is something unknown that makes this happen.

As soon as I have something concrete to report, I will update this thread.

Thanks again for the feedback everyone. I appreciate the help!

Hey Jerry - that WMV video looks good. Thanks for sending it. What did you use to grab the EDIUS interface? SnagIt? Camtasia Studio?

Yes it was camtasia. It started out 2300 wide down
to 1440 wide. I used to spend time making screen shots.
This is easier and shows more.

Yes, if we create VisTitle in EDIUS bin, 1.6x has this issues (no background). 1.8 fix it.

If you still use VisTitle 1.6.1, then this issues is existed. Please upgrade to 1.8 to fix it.
