which is better in quality and color correction 25p

hello everybody, im an old edius user since 1994, now having 6.06 installed on a powerful system and win 7 64. the problem is that i lost three editing projects each of 30 episodes (TV series) because the directors here want to use final cut pro, specially when using canon 5d, they say the quality and the color correction in f c pro will be better. Acutually, im not convinced much with there point of view. im satisfied with GV and i like to work realtime. also i have all the 3rd party plugins (redgiant, ....) that works with fcpro. but i couldnt convince them. can u help me in this topic with the scientific point of view? thanks

Maybe you should point your directors towards http://vimeo.com/27292117 and let them watch episode 1 till 5, then restart you talks :)

Edius is very strong, if you know how to use it.

Matthew Scott, the creator of these great tutorials also uses often (mostly) DSLR footage ...............
