  • vistitle moving along timeline

I now have Vistitle 1.8 installed and have a project where my talent is pointing above his head, to the right about chest high and to the floor.
Ive stopped the Edius 6 timeline as he is pointing above his head where upon I have made a title a graphic figure appear at his fingertips.
I now want to move along the edius timeline with my cursor and get an updated image appear in the preview panel so I can line up the next pointed finger from his chest position and then thirdly the floor without making a whole new seperate titles.
Have I missed something easy with VT to update so I can position the next graphic all within just one title or do I have to make new ones?
    Thanks in advance

Maybe you can copy this clip, and paste to T track, then use F7 to move title to other positions.

Or copy paste the clip, and use EDIUS layouter to do some transformation.

    Hope I understand your wanted.

I think using Layouter will be the quickest and simplest method.

I think what deebee69 wanted was the preview window to update in Vistitle so that he could position the new title.

You have to click on "effect edit show" in Vistitle. This looks like a man running along. It is below the preview window on the right. This then updates the preview window as you scroll along the Vistitle timeline

Thanks a lot to all and especially John Hooper,
          He nailed it for me.
I suppose I was just being a bit lazy and creating three different titles appearing and dissapearing within just one title.
With John s advice I have now successfully done this and have just one VT title on the Edius timeline, after creating three different graphics titles on the VT timeline.the clips on the VT timeline appear on their own seperate tracks...so I had three layered tracks, but this gave me all the control I wanted and could time/sync them up to exactly the right frame as my talent was doing his piece to camera.
          Thanks again
