Does anyone knows if I feed Encore a HQ AVI 1280X720 60P for it to make a PAL DVD, will it work? I see that Encore have project settings for PAL and it will transcode, just not sure if it would work, I don't have any PAL DVD or TV here.
    Thanks.

Not that many encore users here (I think)
Why don't you try to download some PAL test footage from the web, you could also make your own by opening a PAL project, place any footage or stills inside and export as avi, it will be PAL this way :)

Even NTSC footage will be converted as PAL.
Not pretty to look at but will suffice to test.

Khoi, I don't know if this will help you or not.

These are the settings I used for the PAL DVD conversion
A couiple of the settings were different from what I thought I chose.
Encore interpreted the 1280x720p as lower.

It also gave me a 9.0 max bit which I thought I had chose 8.0 max. Oh well. My Bad!

This is a screen shot of the finished image creation panel.
As I said, I don't know if it is what you were wanting as far as setting-wise,
but it did do a pal conversion.
Granted this was a very short project, at least it gives you an idea.

Khoi I'm a regular user of Encore. It does both NTSC and PAL without any problems.

Thanks guys, I just redo it and it looks fine now, my first time to PAL using Encore to encoded it wash out, so I just added some contrast and color to my HQ AVI and all it fine now.
            Thanks.
