Newbluefx Titler for Edius

Edius Quicktitler is very good as far as bundled titlers go. Better than the ones in Vegas and Premiere for sure. There's only one thing I wish they would change because it's really annoying, which is having to press F3 all the time after making a change. There should be an option for keeping high quality preview on all the time, on fast machines the draft quality is pointless.
press again and goes back to normalComment

I think the New Blue Pro titler is supposed to take leverage from your GPU which is the way all their plugins are going - this is good, however I tested the New Blue Pro Titler with Vegas 11 Pro, and, in an HDV PAL project, fairly simple animated titles do not play back smoothly without a render, so I think we can expect to see the usual New Blue story of none realtime effects. This by the way is using my signature system 1 which has a GTX 570 with massive vram and a stonkingly fast cpu etc etc.
I'm so used to Edius and TMP Pro running without the need for title renders at any time, and I guess that Vistitle produces similar results from the generaly good vibes I hear about it on this forum.
The interface is simple, but I've not really seen anything that really excites me, although I have to say, twinkly titles ain't my scene anyway, but some of the 3D stuff might be good for corporate use...

It works as is , it's not new.Comment

New BlueFx Titler pro
Good Evening/Morning!!!
Well... i just tested this new Titler pro as a stand alone application (not ready yet for Edius and Mac), and i think that it is a nice application, but this version is only Trial (not many fx, transitions, templates etc).
I installed it on my Signature's PC (core i7) and it worked fine without problems..i think my GTX 460 with 2Gb VRam is ok for it.
I noticed that all 8 cores of the Core i7 were...sleeping !!!! On the other hand the Gpu fan started to spin very fast...and was quite noisy...
But the motion was very smooth without ....hiccups...!!!
When i installed it on my Macbook Pro (gforce 8600Gt 256Vram....it was Hell... i could not do the most basic things..adding a text on a second layer, or adding keyframe just to make the \title turn left and right....
I suppose, because the application is 100% GpU based, (according to the Company) this probably explains the problem.
I dont know if i can compare it with the Vistitle which i also have .
I think that this TitlerPro is much easier to use than the Vistitle, although Vistitle is much more than a simple Titler...
By the End of the Month the application will be availiable also for Edius and FCP users, and for one more time i have to think what is better for me.
Stay with Vistitle, or go with Titler Pro?
I would like to know your oppinions, and also if someone has some experience to share about this application.Computer Details

Thats why i switch to Edius !!!Comment
