    Twixtor slo mo in Edius

    I asked the guys at Twixtor about a plugin for edius and got this reply

    Thank you for your recent requests for support of Twixtor in Edius 6.
    Earlier this year I asked the Edius product manager in Japan after I tried it, if it was possible to assign a developer to help us
    iron a few bugs so the AE compatible version can work in Edius (this would be the fastest way to achieve the goal), that would be
    nice right? I haven't heard anything back from that request. I am bcc'ing him again here, who knows they might have been distracted
    by the earthquake?.

    Certain things have changed in how the AE bridge works and certain plugins no longer work in the bridge that did previously.
    So, I guess it is a good thing that they didn't get back to you.
    Please keep trying. Whether you go a straight plugin such as Vitascene or Robuskey, or the AE bridge route, it would be a wonderful plugin to have.

      Let me chime in.

      We are working very hard with thirparty manufacturers on compatibility. As such we have seen a few new plugins.
      I know the product manager and engineers are working very hard on other stuff read produtcs.
      I will try to see what is going on . I help with thirdparty stuff for EDIUS :)

          Please get this to be a plugin for Edius! I was just on their website and the images are just fantastic. I watched the "playing in water" clip shot with Cannon 550D at 60p and it looked like The Matrix.

          It is quite disappointing to see every NLE that exists on their host list except Edius... Hopefully this can change going forward.

            I cannot see why if BOTH parties are interested in having Edius use this software that it cannot be achieved in a short time. If one has interest and the other very little or none, then it may take a long time, if it were ever to happen. Get together and work it out!

                I too am interested in twixtor for edius. I got a response yesterday that there will be no twixtor this year but they have been working on it. They said they have been havIng trouble. :(

                    Try AE slomo with pixel blending if you have AE, just as good I think.

                        You better send this question to Revision FX.
                        You can even try to use the OFX version by plugging it into the third party OFX-bridge.

                            The AE version didn't work in the bridge. I didn't know they had an OFX version. I'll check it out.
