My guess is they are pushing these as DaVinci Resolve LT is due out soon.

You need to install it for AE CS4 first,
then import the plugin folder in EDIUS 6 AE bridge.

Possibly a silly question, but to get the download you need to specify which host product you own.

Does it matter which you select?

                  Thanks,

Sorry to ask ..but having downloaded it, unzipped and run the install...how do I get it to show up in Edius?

I went to use the AE bridge, but cannot seem to locate the software.

Similar to using external VST effects you need to import AE filters from the bridge.
Somewhere in the system setting you'll need to find the AE bridge import settings and point to the just installed folder of colorista and maybe others you have.

Can't give you specific steps as E6 is not installed yet, waiting for drivers first.

                      I have now found it!

I expected to appear on my C drive. It was installed on my E drive for some reason.

Sorry, only plug's into Edius 6.
If you can get your hands on a long ago beta version (read alpha - it was pretty buggy) of the AE bridge made available by GV you could use that in Edius 5, explode pro was the time for Edius 4 :)

Andreas, how did you get the screenshot of Colorista to show white lettering for the parameter labels?

I am using the standard Edius colours and these labels are difficult to read as they are so dark.

It all depends on how define working in EDIUS.
This is how the commercial version I looks like in EDIUS :
