  • Thirdparty update

    Hi Guys,
We have made a lot of good progress over the past few months with 3rd-party plug-in providers porting their products to EDIUS.
We now have a compatibility list available.
    http://www.grassvalley.com/docs/Misc..._CompGuide.pdf
This list will be a growing list.
If you found a vst or AE plug which is working for you and it is not on the list please let us know so we can test it and add it to our list.

    Singular
Software’s PluralEyes software for EDIUS is now in beta testing.

Boris has agreed to port Red and Graffiti natively to EDIUS 6. May take 2/3 months.
The cool thing is that they will include effects from Final Effects Complete and will be accelerated.

    ProDAD
launched VitaScene Vr 2.0 at NAB.
This is now available for purchase.

    DigiEffects
Damage is now compatible with EDIUS 6 and the plan is to have Delirium working by end of May.

    Pegasys
have released an MPEG export utility EDIUS - more info here: http://tmpgenc.pegasys-inc.com/en/product/e5m2p.html

The third party list will get longer and we will see really cool stuff.
I can tell you this year will be an exciting third party year. Make sure to follow the forum and our social media.

          More control for creating effects!
ROBUSKEY is coming to EDIUS. ROBUSKEY for EDIUS (native EDIUS filter)
          What is ROBUSKEY?
ROBUSKEY uses a chroma key algorithm developed by ISP that is specifically matched to people's hair characteristics and skin tone. It includes an automatic matte creation filter. Matting is possible even if the video is shot under non-ideal conditions, such as weak lighting, wrinkles or shadows on the background.
ROBUSKEY will work as a native filter in EDIUS, and because it’s a filter the order of processing can be changed.
The plug-in is being worked on so there is no need to spam the manufacturer. Follow the forum as we will keep you updated on the progress.
If you want to read up on the capabilities or watch a sample:
          http://www.isp.co.jp/en/products/rob...deo/index.html
Remember there is nothing for EDIUS up yet because work is ongoing but this is an “early warning” for COOL. :)
